It has a backcheck feature to stall the door opening at 70°, which prevents the door opening too fast by pedestrians or from gusts of wind.

This Door Closer design accommodates both left and right-side installations. It’s suitable for installing on fully-framed aluminium or timber doors. The design of this Parallel Hold Open Kit has been tested to withstand heavy usage (up to 2,000,000 cycles).
