The Plug Cutter has a sharp cutting edge to make clean and precise cuts out of new or recycled timber. It produces straight plugs, which are easier to sand flush compared to tapered plugs and/or dowels.

A black oxide coating reduces heat build-up and friction to prevent burn marks on workpieces. This coating also increases the work life of the Plug Cutter's blade.
